Spinsect

Why do little kids sometimes love insects, and sometimes fear them? One minute they are standing in the yard, holding a worm in one hand and a beetle in the other. And they are trying hard to remember not to eat the worm. Then, later, they are in the house screaming at the top of their lungs because they see a spider way over at the other side of the room. What's up with that?

How To Play Spinsect

This is a puzzle game which has tiles with different types of insects on each of their four sides. To solve the puzzle, swap and spin tiles until all of the insect shapes match up correctly. Click to pick up a tile. Click on a second tile to exchange it with the tile you are holding. If you hold down the Shift key while doing this, both tiles will be placed on the board, in swapped positions. To put down the tile you are holding without swapping it, click on the empty space. Press the Z key to rotate a tile counterclockwise and press the X key to rotate a tile clockwise. You can rotate tiles in place or pick them up first. There are three levels of difficulty.
